About theatreoflivingarts

Philadelphia, PA

The TLA (or, briefly, The Fillmore at the Theatre of the Living Arts; or Theater of the Living Arts) is a music venue located at 334 South Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It is a standing-room-only venue converted from an old single-screen movie theater. It has a capacity of about 810 and is used for smaller concerts. Its larger cousin, the Electric Factory (a converted electric factory), can hold 2,500 and is also a standing room-only venue located to the north at 421 N. 7th St. at Willow St.
It is owned and operated by Live Nation.
In March of 2007, it was announced that the Theater of the Living Arts would be rebranded as the Fillmore Philadelphia, after The Fillmore in San Francisco.[1] However, as of June 2008, Live Nation announced that the venue would once again be rebranded using its original name.
