About The People in the Paper
Rogers, AR
THE PEOPLE IN THE PAPER hope to leave a permanent ink stain with the release of their first EP “The Rich, Poor, and Me”. The four song collection of all original material starts off with a bang as the opening track “Land of Heroes” sets the precedence of straight at you rock and roll. The next two songs “The fool and the Wiseman” along with “Rich and Lonely” show a little bit of the bands views on politics and social issues before “Selfish” brings it all home. “The song ‘Selfish’ is sort of a collective middle finger in the air to all the ladies who have left their scars on us” says drummer Shane Trolinger. “The Rich, Poor, and Me” was recorded, mixed and mastered by “Doctor” Dan Robinson and THE FOUNDRY in Fayetteville, AR. THE PEOPLE IN THE PAPER are continuing to work on new material that, along with these four songs, will combine to make a full length album. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for this fast moving, up and coming band.
