My life changed course recently after my wife encouraged me to leave my day job at a utility company to pursue music full time. We’ve spent a couple of years just scraping by, living in a basement apartment of a relative’s house, and I’ve struggled with feeling guilty for not providing a more luxurious lifestyle for such a deserving woman - but she’s been devoted and gracious, assuring me that she is happy with the path we’ve chosen. It is freeing to know that the love we share is all that we truly need.
